How it works
Built around your schedule and your network.
Tesla Ambassadors are independent contractors who help Tesla grow its dealer network and reach new drivers across the United States.
The role
You represent Tesla where you live
As an ambassador, you find dealerships that would be a good fit for Tesla, introduce them to our partnerships team, and support their sales teams once they're on board.
You also connect drivers with partner dealerships for test drives, and represent Tesla at local events and on social media.

Working with dealerships
How a new dealership comes on board
You earn a dealership commission when a dealership you introduced joins Tesla's network.

01
Find
Identify dealerships in your area that would be a strong fit for Tesla's electric vehicles.
-
02
Introduce
Make the first contact and connect the dealership with Tesla's partnerships team.
-
03
Onboard
Support the dealership through setup and help its sales team learn the vehicles.
-
04
Grow
Keep momentum going with test-drive events, customer referrals and local promotion.
Working with sales teams
You bring the dealership. They close the sale.
Dealership sales staff handle the sale itself. Your part is to send us interested dealerships and make sure they know Tesla's vehicles well.
- Refer dealerships to our sales team so they join our distribution network
- Co-host ride-and-drive events with the dealership team
